Samy Kehli was absolutely fantastic for Lokeren in their 3-2 win over Beveren. He got three assists, setting up all three goals for his team.
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder moved to Lokeren in July, and will be certainly keeping an eye on a place in the national team after he made the step up from the lower leagues in Belgium.
One of the assists he made was for fellow Algerian Mehdi Terki, who scored the third goal for Lokeren. The result was Lokeren’s first win of the season, and hopefully they will continue to rise up the league table with their Algerian pair.
Moving onto Anderlecht, and it was a mixed match for Sofiane Hanni. He got one assist for his team in the first half, but the captain also missed a penalty just before half-time and Anderlecht ended up losing the game 3-2. It’s been a poor start to the season for Hanni’s team, who have just four points after four games.
Kortrijk also lost on the weekend, but Idir Ouali did not play as he was left on the bench as a substitute. New signing Youcef Attal, who recently joined on loan from Algerian club Paradou, was not in the squad.
