Faouzi Ghoulam is a prime target for French team Monaco if Fabinho completes his move to PSG, according to Italian source Rai Sport.
The Algerian currently has one year left on his Napoli contract, and the Serie A side are trying to get the defender to sign a new deal to prevent him from leaving for free next summer.
However, if Ghoulam refuses to sign a new deal then Napoli may be willing to cash in on him this summer with Monaco showing an increasing interest in the player.
A meeting was reportedly held on Monday between Ghoulam, his agent and Napoli representatives, but no agreement has been reached yet.
Ghoulam already has one goal and one assist in three matches this season, showing the extent of his star quality and he would certainly be a big signing for the Ligue 1 outfit.
The 26-year-old was signed by Rafa Benitez from St Etienne in 2014, and has proven to be great value with over 100 appearances for the Serie A club, and the number 31 has become a real fan favourite.
Monaco have already signed one Algerian footballer in this current transfer window, with winger Rachid Ghezzal joining on a free transfer from Lyon.
