The UEFA Champions League group stage returns this week, with plenty of Algerian footballers in action in Europe’s elite club competition.
It all kicks off tomorrow (Tuesday 12th September), when Sofiane Hanni‘s Anderlecht travel to Bayern Munich in what could be a very difficult match for the Belgian club. Hanni is making his first ever appearance in the group stage of the tournament.
Also in Group B, Yuri Berchiche travels to Scotland as Paris Saint-Germain play against Scottish champions Celtic. Both matches kick off at 7.45pm on Tuesday.
Moving on to Wednesday, where Napoli pair Adam Ounas and Faouzi Ghoulam are off to Ukraine for their match away to Shakhtar Donetsk in Group F.
Finally in Group G, Yacine Brahimi is at home to Besiktas with FC Porto as they look to progress out of a group that is wide open.
In the other Group G game, Rachid Ghezzal is away to German team RB Leipzig with the French champions Monaco as they look to repeat their impressive run that took them all the way to the semi-finals last season.
