With the release of video game FIFA 18 fast approaching, EA Sports have released the first set of player ratings which are always eagerly anticipated for the Algerian footballers.
Riyad Mahrez has been downgraded from an 85-rated card to an 83, but he still remains the highest rated Algerian footballer in the game.
Fellow Leicester City player Islam Slimani has also been downgraded, from an 83 card to an 82 card. Slimani is renowned in FIFA for his excellent heading ability, as shown with his ’86 physical rating’ on his card.
Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam has been awarded a 79-rated card, which many people feel is still underrating him.
FC Porto winger Yacine Brahimi has been given an 82 rating, and his position has also been modified from a left winger to a left midfielder.
Nabil Bentaleb has been given a solid increase, with the Algerian midfielder now rated 80.
Aissa Mandi has remained a 78-rated defender, although his card is now a rare one which makes it harder to get in the game.
We will bring you all the FIFA 18 ratings for the rest of the Algerian footballers as soon as they are released.
