Napoli are in negotiations with Hellas Verona with regards to signing Mohamed Fares, according to Italian media Calcio Mercato. Maurizio Sarri is interested in bringing the player to the club.
The Algerian is being linked for around £4million, but Fares would stay on loan at Hellas Verona until the end of the season before joining Napoli in the summer on a permanent deal.
Both Faouzi Ghoulam and Adam Ounas are already at the club that currently sit at the top of the Serie A table, and Fares would become the 3rd Algerian to be at the club.

Fares made his debut for the Algerian national team a few months ago, playing in a World Cup qualifier against Cameroon in a game that Algeria lost 2-0. The 21-year-old has been in Italy since 2013, when he joined Hellas from Bordeaux.
He has been impressive for the club, helping them with some fantastic assists this season down the left-hand side. He can also play on the left of midfield, and has scored for Hellas this season in the Italian Cup.
This would be a great move for the Algerian, enabling him to play at a better club which would ultimately improve the defence of the national team.
