Manchester City and Atletico Madrid are leading the chase for Angers defender Rayan Ait Nouri, according to Courrier de l’Ouest.
The 16-year-old has already been given the number two shirt at the Ligue 1 club at such a young age, showing the extent of the quality and potential he possesses. He has already signed a professional contract, although is yet to make an appearance for the first team.
Although born in France, the left-back has Algerian parents and was brought to Angers by their Algerian chairman Said Chabane. Angers are currently 14th in the top tier of French football and reached the Cup final last season.
Monaco have also been linked with a move for the whiz kid, as well as Premier League side Liverpool. Ait Nouri is considered to be one of the hottest future talents in the whole of Europe, and is currently valued at £10million.
Angers have a history of Algerian signings in recent years, with Mehdi Tahrat and Youcef Belaili recently appearing for the French side. Chabane could have a say on his future for both club and country.
Atletico Madrid are said to be considering him as a long term replacement for Filipe Luis, whilst Man City only have one recognised left-back in Benjamin Mendy.
