Riyad Mahrez appeared to wave goodbye to the Leicester City fans following their 3-1 win over Arsenal in the Premier League.
The Algerian international was playing in the Foxes’ final home game of the season at the King Power Stadium, and scored a brilliant goal to seal the three points.
Mahrez, who now has 11 league goals this season, looked to say farewell to the supporters following the full time whistle as he went over to the Leicester faithful around the ground.
He has been linked with a variety of clubs in the past two years, and tried to force a move to Manchester City in January but the Leicester owners rejected four bids.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid have all been linked with the 27-year-old in the past few weeks, and it now looks increasingly likely that he will depart this summer.
Having won the Premier League and the Championship, Mahrez has certainly enjoyed a glittering career at the club, including taking them to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater have both left Leicester since they won the league title, and now it looks like the Algerian international will finally be wearing a different club shirt in the new season.
