Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal are keen on bringing Islam Slimani to the club, according to Al Eqtisadiah.
Slimani joined English football in 2016 when he became a record signing for Leicester City, but has failed to live up to his price tag at the King Power Stadium.
Scoring 48 goals in 82 league games in Portugal for Sporting, Slimani certainly knows how to find the back of the net when given the correct service as he is lethal in the air.
And now Al Hilal want to sign him and reunite him with Jorge Jesus, who managed him in Liga NOS.
He also helped Leicester City to the quarter-finals of the Champions League where they remained unbeaten at home throughout their entire European campaign.
The past 12 months have seen a few Algerian footballers move to the Saudi Arabian league, including Rais M’Bolhi and Azzedine Doukha. Hilal Soudani has also been linked with Al Ahli recently.
Slimani has also been targeted by West Ham and Fenerbahce this summer, with his time at Leicester clearly looking like it has come to an end.
He recently spent time on loan at Newcastle United, where he failed to score for the club in his short spell at the club.
