Riyad Mahrez is set to get his dream move, with Leicester City finally willing to let him go this summer. He is set to sign to Manchester City, according to the Daily Mirror.
Agent fees are the only thing that is left to be negotiated, which will be finalised when Mahrez returns from his holiday.
This is the fifth transfer window in a row in which Mahrez has been linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium, but it looks like a £60m deal plus £15m in add-ons will finally be sorted soon.
The 27-year-old enjoyed another impressive Premier League campaign, in which he scored more goals than Bernardo Silva, Leroy Sane and Kevin De Bruyne. Jorginho is also expected to sign at the Etihad.
Mahrez would join the likes of Ali Benarbia and Djamel Abdoun as Algerians to have signed for Manchester City, if the move goes ahead as planned. Pep Guardiola would make Mahrez the most Manchester City have ever paid for a footballer.
He would become the most expensive Algerian, Arab and African of all time, costing nearly double what Liverpool paid Roma for Mohamed Salah a year ago. He recently appeared for Algeria in a 3-0 loss against Portugal
