Algerian winger Zinedine Ferhat is being linked with a move to Nantes and Espanyol, according to France Football. Several Ligue 1 clubs are also linked with the player.
The Le Havre midfielder got 20 assists last season in the French second tier, which was a new record for Ligue 2 in 35 league appearances for the club.
Ferhat, who joined for free from USM Alger, has just one year remaining on his current contract with the club. Strasbourg, Saint-Etienne and Amiens are also said to be interested in the 25-year-old.
He recently appeared twice for the Algerian national team in the unusual position of right-back, which does suggest Ferhat has versatility.
Winning the league title twice in Algeria with USMA, Ferhat took the opportunity to move to Europe where he almost helped Le Havre win promotion to Ligue 1.
Le Havre was also the former club of fellow countryman Riyad Mahrez, who has gone on to achieve great things in his career. Ferhat is currently available for as cheap as £4million, which is an absolute bargain in the current transfer market.
He would add great crossing ability with his good vision of passing to any side that would purchase him, as well as brilliant delivery from set pieces.
