Algerian international Islam Slimani is available this summer for just £18million, according to Sky Sports.
Slimani joined English football in 2016 when he became a record signing for Leicester City from Alvalade, but he has failed to live up to his price tag at the King Power Stadium.
Scoring 48 goals in 82 league games in Portugal for Sporting, Slimani certainly knows how to find the back of the net when given the correct service as he is lethal in the air.
Portuguese club Sporting want to loan the forward, but the Foxes would rather sell him. Slimani scored against Notts County in a friendly yesterday at Meadow Lane.
He helped Leicester City to the quarter-finals of the Champions League where they remained unbeaten at home throughout their entire European campaign, and is one of Algeria’s all-time top goal-scorers.
Slimani has also been targeted by West Ham, Besiktas and Fenerbahce this summer, with his time at Leicester clearly looking like it has come to an end.
He recently spent time on loan at Newcastle United, where he failed to score for the Magpies in his short spell at the club and received a three match ban that cut short his time with Rafa Benitez.
