England is home to many talented up and coming football talents. Riyad Mahrez showed this summer that Algerians are very capable of reaching the pinnacle of Premier League football. Here are three Algerian football youngsters who are finding their feet in English academies that have plenty of potential to make it to the very top level:
Bilal Brahimi (Middlesbrough, 18)
18-year-old Brahimi, who was born in Paris, was signed from Portugal and brought to the north east of England. He can play as a left winger or a striker and has been scoring goals for their youth teams. Maybe he will be as good as Yacine one day.
Yasser Larouci (Liverpool, 17)
The winger who was born in El Oued was brought to the Liverpool academy by former coach and club legend Steven Gerrard. At just 17 years old, Larouci is already at one of the biggest clubs in the world and has the platform to shine on.
Faisal Bettache (QPR, 18)
Bettache joined Queens Park Rangers from Watford at a young age, and plays as a midfielder. The 18-year-old scored three goals for QPR Under-18s last season, and featured this summer for the squad in pre-season. He has a cousin that plays for Braintree.
