Sofiane Hanni could leave Russian club Spartak Moscow after just six months due to a lack of playing time. The 27-year-old is of interest to some Premier League teams, as reported by Belgian media outlet Voetbal 24.
Hanni signed from Anderlecht in the January transfer window, where he was also subject of interest to Burnley, meaning the Clarets may rekindle their interest in the attacking midfielder.
He was on the bench in their Champions League qualifier this week against Greek side PAOK, but did not enter the field of play.
Belgian clubs are keen to bring him back to the league, however Hanni reportedly favours a move to England. Follow deadline day for Algerian footballers with DZ Football.
Burnley are currently in the Europa League qualifiers, whilst Anderlecht could make a move to bring back their former captain.
He was the top scorer for the Algerian national team in 2017 with four goals, along with FC Porto winger Yacine Brahimi. English teams have less than 24 hours to complete deals.
Back in 2016, he won the Belgian League Player of the Year award and helped Anderlecht to the league title a year later. He has also scored at Old Trafford in the Europa League against Manchester United.
