French side Monaco want Yacine Brahimi as a replacement for Keita Balde, according to L’Equipe.
Brahimi has just enjoyed winning his second trophy in Portugal, lifting the Liga NOS league title and the Portuguese Super Cup. The left winger is renowned for his dribbling ability and quick feet, and he scored 12 goals in all competitions during the 2017/18 campaign.
This season, he has already scored two goals in his opening two games for Porto and now Monaco want him. Keita Balde, who plays in the same position, was just loaned out to Inter Milan.
Joining from Granada in summer 2014, the Algerian international has enjoyed a few years now in Portugal and may seek a new challenge for next season. Porto may also prefer to let him go this window, rather than for free next year as he has one year left on his deal.
He also has 11 goals in 42 appearances for the Algerian national team, and would be a fantastic addition to the Monaco squad. It would also mean still getting to play in the Champions League this campaign.
The Ligue 1 side recently sold an Algerian winger, Rachid Ghezzal, to Leicester City. Follow all the Algerian transfers this summer on DZ Football.
