Championship side Leeds United want to sign Fares Bahlouli on loan, according to Yahoo Sport.
The attacking midfielder, who worked with Marcelo Bielsa last season when they were both at LOSC Lille, is of interest on a loan deal as the window for loans is still open in both England and France until August 31st.
Bahlouli has not featured at all this season in Ligue 1 and the 23-year-old can add great value to an already flourishing squad at Elland Road.
Leeds had also been linked with Al Sadd’s Algerian forward Baghdad Bounedjah this summer, but the two teams could not come to a financial agreement.
He has scored two goals in 31 appearances in the top tier of French football. We have already seen Said Benrahma (Brentford) and Hillal Soudani (Nottingham Forest) move to the Championship in this window and both of them have already scored for their new clubs.
Bielsa has had a fantastic start to the 2018/19 season, with two wins from two games so far as Leeds push for a place in the top six.
Bahlouli would become the first Algerian to ever play for Leeds United. Follow all the movements of Algerian footballers this summer on DZ Football.
