Sofiane Hanni could leave Russian club Spartak Moscow after just six months due to a lack of playing time. The 27-year-old is of interest to Besiktas who may land the Algerian international if they fail to land other targets on the final day of the summer transfer window in a late £9m deal.
Hanni signed from Anderlecht in the January transfer window, where he was also subject of interest to Premier League side Burnley.
He was on Spartak’s bench in their Champions League qualifiers as well as their opening games in the Russian League. Both Besiktas and Spartak are in the Europa League group stage. Follow deadline day for Algerian footballers with DZ Football.
He was the top scorer for the Algerian national team in 2017 with four goals, along with FC Porto winger Yacine Brahimi. Turkish teams have less than 24 hours to complete deals.
Back in 2016, he won the Belgian League Player of the Year award and helped Anderlecht to the league title a year later. He has also scored at Old Trafford in the Europa League against Manchester United.
