Algeria confirm first two games for 2019

Algeria will play against Gambia and Tunisia in March 2019 to get the new year started.

Djamel Belmadi’s national side will play both games in Algeria, giving the home fans the opportunity to come and show their support for the team ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

In the final round of AFCON qualifiers, Algeria will host Gambia on March 22nd before hosting North African rivals Tunisia on March 26th in an international friendly.

Algeria have already qualified for the tournament, and many people would like to see the return of Karim Ziani in a similar send off to how England recently called up Wayne Rooney.
