Turkish giants Fenerbahce want to terminate the loan of Yassine Benzia and replace him with Adam Lallana from Liverpool, according to Fotomac.
Benzia moved to Fenerbahce on transfer deadline day back in the summer from LOSC Lille in Ligue 1, as part of a loan deal until the end of the season with an option to buy.
However, it has been a disastrous season for the Turks who currently sit in the Super Lig relegation zone.
Fenerbahce want Lille to agree to a termination of the Algerian forward’s loan, and replace him with Lallana from Liverpool.
Damien Comolli has connections with both clubs and he could be key if these deals were to go ahead, having previously worked at Liverpool.
Benzia has failed to score in 16 appearances for Fenerbahce, and Lille would have to agree to terminate the loan deal just halfway through the campaign otherwise Fener will have to keep him until May.
The 24-year-old was recalled to the Algerian national team this year but has failed to make a huge impact at club level.
Lallana has also struggled this season, with a lack of game time for Liverpool in the Premier League. Follow all the Algerian football transfers in English with DZ Football.
