Algeria manager Djamel Belmadi has named his starting XI for tonight’s match against Gambia, which kicks off at 7.45pm at the Stade Mustapha Tchaker in Blida.
Belmadi has named an experimental team, with the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Said Benrahma and Baghdad Bounedjah on the bench. We may see them come on to make an impact later on.
Napoli winger Adam Ounas is in the starting XI, as are fellow Serie A stars Ismael Bennacer and Mohamed Fares.
There is no injury to any of the senior players as Belmadi is trying players out and seeing if they are good enough to take to AFCON 2019.
Vitesse forward Oussama Darfalou is making his debut for the Algerian national team. Loucif and Boudaoui, both from Paradou, appeared for the Desert Foxes against Qatar in December.
Gambia need to win to keep their hopes of qualifying for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, whilst Algeria have already qualified for the tournament in Egypt this summer.
Algeria XI: Doukha, Loucif, Abdellaoui, Halliche, Fares, Abeid, Boudaoui, Bennacer, Ounas, Darfalou, Belaili
