Premier League side Chelsea FC will target Algerian defender Youcef Attal if their transfer ban is lifted in the summer, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Attal, who scored a hat-trick at the weekend in Ligue 1 for OGC Nice, was signed in the summer from Belgian side Kortrijk for just £3million.
However, the 22-year-old is now a target for West London side Chelsea who will have to pay around £35million to land the right-back.
His hat-trick came in the French League against Guingamp, where Attal was placed on the left wing due to his immense dribbling ability. He has six goals in total this season, which makes him the top scorer for OGC Nice in 2018/19.
However, Vieira has come out and said that he wants Attal to be at the club next season despite the fact that the Algerian wants to test himself in the UEFA Champions League.
Attal originates from JS Kabylie, but then moved on to the Paradou AC academy in order to be closer to home. He made his debut for Algeria in 2017.
Of course if Chelsea are unable to have their ban lifted then they will be unable to complete a deal for the man from Tizi Ouzou. Follow all the Algerian football transfers in English with DZ Football.
