French champions Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Algerian striker Islam Slimani, according to Foot Mercato.
Despite scoring seven goals and recording eight assists in Ligue 1 this season with Monaco, the 31-year-old forward has become out of favour at the club following the departure of manager Leonardo Jardim.
Slimani is currently on loan at Monaco from Leicester City. PSG are looking at the player as a potential replacement for Edinson Cavani should he leave the club.
