Premier League duo Manchester United and Tottenham are still in talks with Algerian striker Islam Slimani, according to RMC Sport.
The 31-year-old is now out of favour at Monaco following the departure of manager Leonardo Jardim, however he is still owned by Leicester City.
He has scored seven goals and assisted eight goals in Ligue 1 this season in just 14 appearances for Monaco.
Several options are being explored, such as whether to loan the player for the second half of the season or buy the Algerian striker outright. Follow DZ Football for all the Algerian football transfers in English this January.
